Concierge medicine is a revolutionary form of health care that provides patients with personalized, attentive, quality medical care in a low patient volume setting, with physician access 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. This access reaches beyond the office walls to include coordination of care when seeing specialists or when hospitalized, and house calls.
Concierge Medicine is amongst the fastest growing medical trends in the country. In 2005, there were 500 doctors practicing what is referred to as concierge medicine. Now there are over 5,000 according to the American Academy of Private Physicians, a professional society of concierge physicians. As the state of the national economy has slipped in past years, affordable healthcare has become increasingly harder to acquire for families, and the quality of healthcare has diminished as well. Concierge Medicine provides a viable option for receiving quality medical care with the benefit of personalized service.

About Internist and Internal Medicine
Simply put, internists are Doctors of Internal Medicine. Doctors of Internal Medicine are frequently referred to as Doctors for Adults. You may see them referred by several terms, including “internists,” “general internists,” and “doctors of internal medicine.”
Doctors of internal medicine focus on adult medicine and have had special study and training focusing on prevention and treatment of adult diseases. At least three of their seven or more years of medical school and postgraduate training are dedicated to learning how to prevent, diagnose, and treat diseases that affect adults. Internists are sometimes referred to as the “doctor’s doctor,” because they are often called upon to act as consultants to other physicians to help solve puzzling diagnostic problems.
About Dr. Edward Espinosa the Executive Director and Primary Physician at BM.
Dr. Edward Espinosa is a native and resident of Atlanta, Georgia. He attended graduate school at the Tulane University School of Public Health and Tropical Medicine, receiving a Master of Public Health in Epidemiology. He then worked for several years with Medicare, as well as the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention as an Epidemiologist. (Epidemiology is the study of diseases in population of humans, specifically how, when and where they occur. Epidemiologists attempt to determine what factors are associated with diseases “risk factors,” and what factors may protect people against diseases).
Dr. Espinosa attended medical school at the New York College of Osteopathic Medicine where he received the degree of Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine. He then underwent formal internal medicine training at the Ochsner Clinic Foundation in New Orleans completing the 3 year residency in Internal Medicine. Dr. Espinosa is a Board Certified Internal Medicine Physician. He is a member of the American College of Physicians and is currently on staff at both Piedmont Hospital and Northside Hospital of Atlanta.
Dr. Espinosa’s area of expertise is in diagnosis and treatment of most adult medical problems encompassing patients 17 years of age and older. Heart disease, high blood pressure, high cholesterol, diabetes, arthritis, asthma, and depression are just a few of the highlighted concerns of his practice. Correspondingly, a major objective of his practice is the early detection and diagnosis of disease in its earliest and most treatable stages. Dr. Espinosa’s goal is to enable each of his patients to achieve and maintain optimal health through ongoing personal involvement.
For example, if you become ill after hours or on a weekend, Dr. Espinosa is directly available by phone to address your needs. Additionally, if you have an emergency, call 911 immediately. After you call 911, you call Dr. Espinosa. He will assist in coordinating care after you are seen by the emergency room physician. This is particularly beneficial if you require hospitalization.
Think about it, healthcare from a doctor as we remember from years back, or how we want it to be.

At Concord Pharmacy, your well being is our top priority. We believe having a pharmacist you know and trust is as important as knowing your doctor. In today’s society, medical information and misinformation is abundantly available. Concord Pharmacy takes pride in sorting out fact from fiction.
We can work closely with your physician to develop a professional collaborative practice to optimize your personal health strategy. For over 25 years Concord has emphasized the importance of the physician/patient/pharmacist relationship.
We provide competitive pricing and same prescription co-pay as with other stores. Do not assume because we are not a national chain store that we are not competitive. Indeed, we offer the same pricing, but better individual services. No voicemail – “live” response, short prescription time, home or office delivery, insurance billing and personal one-on-one counseling. Remember what it used to be like when you knew your local pharmacist and they knew you…….well come over for a trip to memory lane and let’s get acquainted!
Concord Pharmacy blends an old style of pharmacy service with state-of-the-art technology. You will know our pharmacists by name. We not only invite, but encourage dialog between you and our staff.
Hard to Find Medications
Concord Pharmacy is one of the city’s leaders in supplying difficult-to-find pharmaceuticals. We regularly prepare natural hormone replacement therapy, including the newest and unusual pharmaceuticals.
Specialty Compounding
Compounding is the art of customizing medications to fit individual patient needs according to your doctor’s specific diagnosis and your individual condition. Compounding allows a practitioner to prescribe, and a pharmacist to prepare a customized medication that is not commercially available, or to place an available medication in a different dosage form to meet a specific patient need for improved compliance.
Pain Management
We prepare topical pain/arthritis remedies and a wide variety of dermatological and chronic pain medication in addition to many others.
Concord Pharmacy is conveniently located in hospitals and medical facilities to better serve your needs:

After watching Caregivers struggle to change the adult briefs and seeing the discomfort the process caused to my parent, I thought surely there is a more efficient and more compassionate solution to address adult incontinence. From this need, the patented product CareZips® was formed. A pant unlike any other providing frontal opening from entire waist to both knees, enabling a faster change of the brief for the Caregiver while providing the adult more dignity, more comfort and confidence.
- The unisex three-zippered construction (patented) allows for quick and easy full-frontal opening from waist down to the knees giving wider access to change an adult brief.
- Two-side zippers from waist to knee and the strategically placed 3rd zipper from inside one knee all the way up and down to the other inside knee create access unlike any other pants.
- The two side zippers are sewn forward away from the hip bone to avoid rolling onto a zipper pull. Two small snaps are at the top of each side zipper.
- Legs are slightly tapered for style and to prevent dragging.
- Durable for home laundry.
- Fabric is soft, yet an athletic feel – 7% spandex, 21% rayon and 72% polyester.
- Many size options and colors are offered.
We are always looking for new partners in all 27 Metro Atlanta counties to help with different aspects of patient care. Please give us a call (770) 579-5000 or use our contact page. Hope to hear from you soon!
